DNA
STAFF

Our youth ministry team is called “DNA".” Why? Well, because they quite literally make our youth ministry happen. They help set up, tear down, plan, prepare, brainstorm, set culture, serve, and more throughout youth. It’s comprised of two parents: DNA students and DNA Staff.

The former is our student leaders who have gone through our ESSENTIALS program The latter is where you come in! Our DNA Staff is a team of adults who are trained, equipped, and passionate about spreading the gospel to students.

To get involved and become a DNA Staff member, you must complete Rock Family Church’s Team Membership course online. When done, select that you want to serve in the youth department, and you’ll begin the onboarding process!

What exactly is a HOUSE PARTY?

A House Party is a night where we take everything that we do in a typical youth service and move it into a house for the night! We bring food, beverages, games, worship, a message, and run church in a house. At the end of the service there is usually a time where we do turn up the music and have a party. This is one of our ways of getting our students out of the classic church setting and is an even greater opportunity for them to invite friends who may not come to church.

How does it work?

Our DNA Staff and Student teams will come earlier in the day to setup. We try to make as most room as we can, so some furniture may be moved around, but everything will be put back exactly how it was (or if you’re looking to change things up, you’ll have a team of people ready to make it happen)! We’ll bring in some lights, our worship and sound equipment, garbage bags, plates, and napkins. Long story short, we provide all of the materials, you provide the house. We always promise to leave your home cleaner than we found it!

We have a couple of House Parties spread throughout the calendar year, but we like to have different locations for every party. If you are interested in hosting, you can let us know by clicking the button below.
